Make Sure to Put Your Best Foot Forward for Increased Traffic Solutions

The whole purpose of having a website is to let people know about your business. As such, you need to have a website you actually want people to see. As you work towards bringing more people to your website through different traffic solutions, it is important to take a second look at your website to assure it is saying the right thing.

If you have launched a program to bring in more traffic to your website, it is even more important to double check to see it is saying what you want. Some important aspects to look at in your web design include your logo, your navigation tabs and the focus of the page. Once you look at these, you can make important changes to your site.


Taking a Look at Your Logo

One of the first things you should consider when people land on your page is how your logo appears. Even if you have taken a long time to create your logo, it does not mean it will work in the design of your website. If the logo does not capture the attention and immediately let people know what your business is about, you may need to rework it. It is OK to rework your logo just for the site to include such things as the kind of business you are in. These can be a subtitle added to the logo to drive home the focus of your company and to prevent confusion.

Placement of Navigation Tabs

You may have convinced people to navigate to your site originally thanks to a QR code generator, but once they are on your site, you need to help them get around. The navigation tabs should be intuitive in the design of the site. If people landing on your page do not automatically know how to get from one part of the site to another, you will need to think about reorganizing it. Navigation tabs on the top of the page can be helpful, but as visitors scroll down, these tabs disappear. Hovering navigation tabs at the top of the page allow visitors to always be able to navigate to any of the other subpages at will.

Focus of the Page

The focus of the page is what visitors see as soon as they arrive. If they are seeing something unimportant first, you need to think about the overall design of the page. Consider what you want for people to see as soon as they arrive on the page and work backwards to work out how they will see this. Are the colors around the unimportant item popping too much? Do you have the wrong thing centered on the page? As long as the focus of the page is visually appealing and is fully visible without scrolling, it should grab attention right away. These and other ideas can help to make sure as more people are navigating towards your page, they are seeing what you want them to see.
